The N1ke AJ1 ‘Shattered Backboard’ looks back on a fabled moment in basketball history when then-rookie MJ shattered the hoop’s backboard during a 1985 exhibition game in Italy. Surfacing in September 2019, the sneaker represents the legend’s stefanel jersey in black nubuck with contrasting tumbled leather and ‘Starfish’ ticks. The wings emblem remains on the ankle and a jump is seen on the tongue. An air assisted rubber cupsole stays classic.
